The human body naturally wants to be healthy, but the daily strain and trials of life can create short and long term problems that the body can’t cope with alone. Through Acupuncture I use techniques that essentially helps the body to help itself. Chinese medicine is an ancient medical practice that works by unblocking Qi, or life energy, from the body and relieving pain and stress caused by these blockages. Hugh studied in university of Westminster and practiced for 2 years. By appointment only.
I am thrilled to have become a volunteer with Bex and the team at Greenfields. I have been a complementary therapist for twenty years and am passionate about my work, which I find extremely rewarding. Currently I am also training to be a counsellor. Having met the ‘clients’ at Greenfields and heard their life-stories, I believe that along with my listening skills, I can be of some holistic benefit to them by offering the following treatments…Massage, Indian Head Massage and Reflexology. Philippa is also available for home visits.
